Everclad Coatings ("we", "us") operates evercladcoatings.com. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you request a quote or estimate, we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address, town or ZIP code, and details about your project (space type, approximate size, timeline, and any message). We use this to respond to your request, prepare your quote, schedule work, and follow up. We keep quote records for as long as we reasonably need them for business and legal purposes.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server records basic technical data with each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. When you submit the quote form we also record your IP address alongside the request as a spam-prevention measure.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, buttons clicked, rough geography). Google Analytics sets cookies and receives technical data about your visit; it does not receive the name, phone, or email you type into our forms. Learn more in Google's privacy policy.
We may use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API to measure whether our ads lead to quote requests. When active, Meta receives technical event data (such as a page view or a lead event) and, for conversion matching, hashed versions of contact details. Learn more in Meta's privacy policy. You can opt out of personalized ads through your Facebook ad preferences.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers who make the site and our business run - our web host, our email provider, analytics and advertising platforms described above, and (if we adopt one) a customer-management system used to track quotes and jobs. Each of these receives only what it needs to do its job.
Cookies
The site sets a short-lived cookie after a quote submission so the thank-you page can show your estimate, plus the analytics and advertising cookies described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@evercladcoatings.com or call (262) 260-9337 and we will handle it promptly. If you have opted in to emails from us, every message includes a way to opt out.
Children
The site is intended for homeowners and businesses, not children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
